Alexander Valley Vineyards Chardonnay 2010
Alexander Valley Vineyards 2010 Chardonnay
A true taste of Sonoma's Alexander Valley, this is gorgeous Chardonnay with plenty of orchard fruit. It’s smoother than many of its peers yet offers so much more –with hints of gun flint smoke and a mineral lift –this is really polished, smooth and impressive. Juicy apple acids keep everything in a fascinating tension. At the last side by side tasting this was THE crowd pleaser and I have no doubts as to why; it’s absolutely delicious.

Expert Review
87 Points - The 2010 Chardonnay Estate is a very pretty wine, not to mention an outstanding value in California Chardonnay. Lemon, vanilla, white flowers and green pears are some of the notes that flow from this zesty, vibrant Chardonnay. The estate’s Chardonnay is aged 70% in steel and 30% in French oak. A dollop of Viognier adds aromatic complexity. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2014.
