Lageder Pinot Grigio 2011
From the foothills of the Dolomite mountains in northern Italy, this Pinot Grigio reinforces Alois Lageder’s renowned reign in those parts. Creamy apples and a honeydew rind make for an inviting nose and the palate echoes those like ones voice in the alps –off hard mineral walls and cool polished slopes. Again weighing in at 12.5% alcohol, this bears the equipoise a foodie yearns to find on a Pinot Grigio.
