Paitin Nebbiolo Ca Veja 2008
I must say that I love this wine and hopefully my description does it proud. First the color is the beloved brick and garnet hue. The nose is magical in all of it’s dusty cherry, violets, English tobacco, cinnamon, black walnut and dried orange zest notes. In the mouth you have the first blast of Black deeply steeped oolong tea tannins with dried fruit, spices and a long crazy finish. This is a wine of meditation or a Lamb tenderloin rare with truffles and Risotto di Arneis con Porcini Funghi.
