75% Carmenere and 25% Merlot
Is there any other Carmenere in all of Italy? Redolent of thick skinned blue and black fruit, dark chocolate and cherries. Herby tannins are but a nuance against the rich fruit, the firm mineral, and the tension betwixt sweetly ripened cherry flesh and the tip top toe tapping chalky cherry skins. Even though the finish engages the senses and far from abrupt it has the magic of making one yearn for the next encounter –the next sip.
