This is a living example of how hand-tended, sustainably grown Chardonnay –free of any chemical applications- makes a living wine. Extraordinary Pouilly Fuissé is far more than extraordinary Chardonnay alone; this comes from vines whose taproots anchor to la Roche de Vergisson –the stunning limestone butte that reigns over the rest of Pouilly Fuissé. Mineral, waxy, textural, polished and even creamy, this is balanced by orchards of apples: fresh, poached and glazed.
