Bianchi Malbec 2010

Famiglia Bianchi knows Malbec as well or better than any winegrower one could think to name. Grown in accordance with sustainable methods of viticulture, this Malbec hails from San Rafael in Argentina’s Mendoza region. Deeply colored to near opacity, this richly ripened Malbec is as dense as it is rich with brambly blackberry and blueberry fruit, fine knit tannins, juicy acidity, a texture that beckons for red meat and a dark spice [think toasty cloves, cinnamon, and sassafras] from barrel aging for ten months. A delicious Malbec that is not only a rich, dark Malbec but sustainably farmed to boot!
