Valentin Bianchi Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Cabernet Sauvignon produces wines of intensity and depth of flavour. Classically, these flavours are cassis, plum, black cherry and anise. Herb, olive, mint, tobacco and cedar are often associated with Cabernet Sauvignon wine, as well. Following Malbec’s great affinity to Argentine soils, Cabernet Sauvignon has fast taken root and shown world class depth especially in high altitude vineyards stretching up to the alps. Here the sun shines bright and long, the cooler night time temps pace out the ripening and ensure concentration from low yields –it’s as if Argentina were tailor made for the variety.

Food Pairings

Meat, meat, meat but especially lamb and beef. Game birds, duck, goose, squab. Anything with lots of rosemary.
