Borsao Berola 2009
Made from vines grown in mountain vineyards at high elevations in Spain’s northern Campo de Borja region. 70% Garnacha, 20% Syrah, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon come together in French and American oak casks for nearly a year to marry scents and flavors of ripe blackberries, fragrant blueberries, and mouthwatering plum skins, the texture of chunky knit tannins, the lift of raspy acids and a woodsy frankincense to round them all out. A Super Spanish if there ever was one.

BODEGAS BORSAO Campo de Borja Berola 2009
90 Points - "This red marries ripe fruit to a firm backbone, offering black cherry and blackberry flavors. A bit jammy and sweet, with vanilla and licorice notes, focused by firm tannins and citrusy acidity. Drink now through 2016. 1,400 cases imported."
