Vina Borgia Garnacha 6/1500 2015
Being only proper to showcase the Garnacha characteristics from the variety’s headwaters, this 2012 Viña Borjia sings its praise like never before. Ripe cherries and green peppercorns on the nose join pomegranates along with the sweet flesh and tart skins of red plums on the palate making for a juicy mouthful of truly Spanish Garnacha. A quaffable red with immediate appeal.
Wine review by Nicholas Livingston, September 2013
From 10 to 15 year old vines planted on a plateau of the Huecha river, comes a fresh bright 100% Grenache with plenty of red fruit balanced by a fine structure and ample bouquet. Viña Borgia is a fine example of this variety, vinified with utmost care and bottled under the strict supervision of the winemaker, José Luis Chueca Sáncho.
