Les Hauts Plateaux Rose Les Alpes de Provence 2019

40% Syrah, 40% Grenache 20% Cinsault | The majority of the vines at Les Hauts Plateaux are planted to predominantly dry hillsides in full exposure to the bright Provençal sun –which at this altitude has nearly twice as many sunshine hours as Paris. This is High Provence after all. A land described in detail by the famous author Jean Giono, the Alpes de Haute Provence is every bit as famous as a land of lakes and cliffs and lavender fields where the plains of lavender rows stretch as far as the eye can see. The vine growing here is environmentally friendly and the cellar has modernized its chaî so that the craft of its wines, in particular its rosés, are very current and pleasant. This rosé bears a salmon color, possesses great intensity on the nose of gooseberry balanced by a supple texture, that’s easy to drink.
