Bulletin Place Shiraz 2012

A blend of their cool climate and Riverina Shiraz, this is aged 6 months in oak to develop a nice balance of dark spicy fruit, tannins, and crowd pleasingly easy –because they are big enough to stand up to palates wanting a mouthful but also well-structured for we who love a red for the table. Earthy Shiraz is dense on the nose with a ferrous, iron-rich element that calls for beef with grill marks. Juicy acids lend structure with a tangy plum character and plenty of bottom without crossing that line into sweet jammy –not remotely. This is structured, nervy and inspires hunger.
