Campuget Tradition Rose 2012
10 miles south of Nimes, in the southern Rhone Valley, Campuget tends vines averaging 25 years old planted to the alluvial "gress" of pebbly stones that mark the Costières de Nîmes and ensures even ripening. 70% Syrah and 30% Grenache makes for a bright glass of rose –this pale rose practically glows in its glass and expresses itself in charming crunchy red fruit. It even lifts on the nose and ricochets about the palate like a merry tune among marble halls. Like summer is upon us and bottled to conjure at your will –and under screw cap it doesn’t require a corkscrew! This rose seems to have been made to make life all the easier and more cheerful.

Food Pairings
Served at 14°C, it is perfect for summertime meals around the pool, with fresh salads or ribs at a barbecue on the beach. It is particularly recommended with grilled red peppers pickled with the olive oil from Campuget.
