Caparzo Sangiovese 2008
100% Sangiovese, aged 4 months in large, old Slovenian oak barrels. Gentle and very fragrant on the nose; floral, lavender, crushed raspberries, very soft nose. Juicy, very soft and approachable in the mouth. Hints of caramelized brown spice. Finishes bright and zingy in a very classical sangiovese style.

Black cherries and cinnamon aromas. On the palate, this Sangiovese show us bright cherry flavors and good structure. The finish is very satisfying.

Food Pairings
Seriously anything tomatoey sings with Sangiovese, pizza and pasta to be sure. Sausages, chicken, gazpacho. Bread salad.
