Caparzo Rosso di Montalcino 2009
Rich, brick red hue leads into a nose of sweet vanilla, caramel, and perfumed flowers. Weighty body, yet fresh on the palate. Sweet tannin with notes of dark cherries supported by bright acid. The finish is like a big hug and a kiss on the forehead from Mom.
