Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino 2007
Deep garnet hue. A brooding nose of dried fruit, black cherry, mace, ceylon tea, a rose and it's leaves pressed in an old book. Flavors of bright, dark fruit with compelling bright acidity. Long, well rounded, balanced finish that lasts 5 plus minutes. Amazing beautiful wine.

"...bursts from the glasswith freshly cut flowers, violets, leather, licorice and black cherries. Firm underlying tannins lend vibrancy to the voluptuous fruit. The bright acidity frames the long, polished finish....Most importantly of all, though, it is flat-out delicious."
