Hebrart Brut Selection 12/375

Marc Hebrart Cuvée de Réserve Brut 375ml (that’s right! Half bottles…Yum!) | 12% | Notes on the bottling disgorged on June 8, 2012 | Mmm… this is right where I love a blend like this in terms of age because it is a bit more ripe and golden in a riper apple and pear fragrance –as if they were folded into a pastry crust, served beside a nibble of butter brittle or roasted hazelnuts. The palate is kept bright and mineral by a chalky snap, an apple skin tannin, and a charm of that champagne liqueur that beckons for creamy west coast oysters.
