Darnaud Crozes Hermitage Les Trois Chenes 2008
Nice irony raspberry with moderate spice. New movement of the young winemakers to take back Crozes from the big co-op and make wine that makes them proud to put Crozes on the label. His cellar is as big as our tasting room. "I think his wines are exceptionally good … we're committed to this guy."

Okay. Wouldn't buy again.
Expert Review
88 Points - "Deep ruby. Blackberry, spice cake and flowers on the nose. Then sweet and velvety in the mouth, with dark berry and cherry flavors that show a jammy quality. Soft tannins are buried in the fruit and add shape to the broad, pliant finish."
