Cloudline Pinot Noir 2009

A gifted example of what great Burgundian know how can do to an Oregon wide appellation Pinot Noir, this is a lifted and elegant wine with a core of strawberries and cream, nuances of crushed dried herbs, and supple mouthfeel and a clean satisfying finish. This is terrific value however you cut it.

Earthen red cherries and a high toned structure are this combination of vintage, Veronique Drouhin, Pinot Noir, and Oregon terroir. Delicious, supple and balanced for the table, Cloudline 2009 proves yet again that Oregon is gifted land for growing Pinot Noir and the Drouhin touch respects the place as much as their belief that wines like this are meant to complete a meal and circle friends about the table.
