Domaine Drouhin Oregon Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2012

Domaine Drouhin Oregon 2012 Pinot Noir Dundee Hills | From a completely certified sustainable estate (which is also certified Salmon Safe) comes this glorious estate Pinot Noir that combines the Drouhin touch –an exquisitely elegant touch with respect for both the supple flexibility of Pinot Noir and the nature of Dundee Hills. A high toned fragrance of a compote made with cranberries, orange peels, and star anise –of bright clarity on the nose and fore-palate, a fine grained tannin and a nuanced acidity that whets the palate and pulses all the way through the finish. These are wines with which we develop relationships love to pieces, enjoy with our favorite meals, and love to grow old with –a gift unique to the graceful and gracious wines of Drouhin.

Food Pairings

Pinot Noir is well-suited to pair with poultry, beef, fish, ham, lamb and pork. It will play well with creamy sauces, spicy seasonings and may just be one of the world's most versatile food wines.
