Drouhin Beaujolais-Villages 2010
Light and floral, this varietal Gamay is copybook Beaujolais-Villages with bright tangy strawberry –akin to strawberry creams or strawberry taffies on the nose with a core of juicy red fruit. This is the playful and facile expression of the Villages appellation –far more interesting and textural than Beaujolais Nouveau but not dense or fragrant as the Cru Beaujolais. Delicious and just perfect for rotisserie or broasted chicken. 12.5% alcohol by volume.
