Drouhin Chorey-les-Beaune Rouge 2011

Drouhin Chorey Les Beaune 2011 Burgundy, France | This marvel of a Chorey les Beaune from the Drouhin’s very own 2 ¼ acre vineyards just outside of Beaune along with some fruit sourced from dear friends they’ve worked with over the years, this is matured in barrels that were quieted by years of use so as to show Chorey’s grace and elegance and finesse. Fragrant flavors of sassafras, sandalwood, and frankincense orbit a twirling core of cherries and crunchy red fruit –another example of the Drouhin’s graceful touch at respecting graceful expressions of terroir –a Chorey les Beaune easy to love and tempting to drink.

Food Pairings

Chorey needs a fine but simple cuisine: roasted poultry, grilled meats and soft cheese such as Reblochon or Brie.
