El Nido 2010

70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Monastrell (old vines), El Nido spends 22 to 26 months in barrel. Cherry covered. Notes of leather, toasted bread and ripe fruits mixed with a touch of spices. The results are intense, concentrated and complex, yielding a sophisticated wine on which to meditate -on its extraordinary richness and its savory extract.
-Tasting notes from the winery.

Expert Review

91 Points - "This thick red has a velvety texture that carries cassis, cherry jam, chocolate and licorice flavors, ripe and sweet. Tannins are firm and well-integrated, as this shows just enough acidity to stay lively. Plush, modern style. Drink now through 2016."
