Errazuriz Don Maximiano 2007

Ripe and rounded macerated black cherry fruit, plum and blackberry, this carries with it sweet scents Cavendish tobacco, licorice and brown spices and salsify. Lush and polished this is gorgeous wine, as Paul Dagget commented this is more akin to Mouton for its sweetness fruit than Lafite’s angularity. Rich and ripe, full and fragrant.

Food Pairings

Meat, meat, meat but especially lamb and beef. Game birds, duck, goose, squab. Anything with lots of rosemary.
