Eugenie Cahors Etiquette Noire 2008

Chateau Eugenie Tradition Etiquette Noire 2008: (ABV %13) Starts with a lovely, muscular nose of black cherry and tobacco leaf. The mouth is surprisingly soft, with an assertive, yet soft tannin matched by pleasant notes of plum and anise. A lingering finish that absolutely begs for repasts of strong hard cheeses and cured meats. A total stunner that you may not see coming but are really happy it showed up.

Fajitas, chili, spicy foods. Indian or Mexican. Beef, lamb or pork most anyway but especially on the grill. Burgers and sausages.
