Francois Cotat Culs Beaujeu Sancerre 2018
A big fruit nose of carmelized Meyer lemon, baked apple, nutmeg and oyster shells. The mouth is clearly from a ripe vintage. The same ripe lemon/lime quality from the nose comes through in the mouth plus a little cherry blossom. I'm inclined to think this wine will be fantastically rich after a couple more years in the cellar. - WB (tasted February 2009)
