Guigal Cotes du Rhone Rouge 2016

From old vines averaging 35 years, this blend comes from 49% Syrah, 48% Grenache, and 3% Mourvèdre. Aged 1 1/2 years in large oak foudres, this is deep and dark red almost shiny. It smells of fresh fruit, red berries and spices. Full, round and racy, this bears rounded and smooth tannins. A full-bodied, rich and intensely aromatic wine with a long finish and plenty of elegance and finesse due to the well balanced tannins and fruit. This classic wine offers top quality year in year out.
