Hofer Zweigelt 2009

Served with a slight chill –it is lighter but it is almost like drinking a junior league Volnay –more like a spicy Pinot Noir for its earthen, crunchy red fruit, smoke, and brown spices. This is stunning. There’s nothing better with grilled vegetables (eggplant, zucchini, and peppers).

cigar-smokey aromas with a little dark berry fruit. Black fruit flavors with currant, cranberry and a Light herbal character.
