Montagnac Merlot 2009

Montagnac's is not your ordinary Merlot despite its modest price. Here you'll find a greater breadth of fruit that exceeds well beyond simple plums to include brighter red fruits and an acidity that bears the ripeness in a way that keeps the balance poised and capable of sipping on its own or bracing against a rich meal.
Wine review by Nicholas Livingston, June 2010

Pretty, dark color. Dark berry fruit with hints of cocoa, herb and earth. Soft, lush, velvety tannins on the finish.
