Paillard Rose Premier Cuvee

The biggest appeal to the wines of Bruno Paillard is their refinement and freshness. This is no blockbuster style bubbly, but rather a wine for those who appreciate finesse and delicacy –Champagne for smart people. There is no mountain of fruit, no blast of sour-dough bread and no needle sharp, tattoo-gun effervescence. This may be, simply put, the most perfectly balanced Rose Champagne you’re likely to buy. Beautiful cherry and strawberry fruit, orange zest and just a kiss of toast all seamlessly packed into a medium-bodied frame. Freshness is such a priority for Paillard that each and every bottle is stamped with the disgorgement date, for non-vintage Champagne ages like a loaf of Wonderbread. If you’re serious about Champagne, this wine would like to meet you.
Also available in 375ml size.

Expert Review

90 points - "Pale peach skin color. Smoky orange and apple aromas are brightened by racy minerality and baking spices. Dusty, sharply focused citrus flavors suggest fresh tangerine, with impressive mineral lift adding energy. Finishes brisk and clean, with excellent mineral snap. This would make a great aperitif."
