Romeo Predicador 2006
Sweet cherry, spicy oak nose. Really intense, smooth mouth, very fresh acidity. Vanilla and cherry fruit, a bit of spice. Really long finish with lots of ripe, silky tannins. The finish lasts for what seems like 20 minutes.
Expert Review
90 points - The Wine Advocate
The 2006 Predicador was aged for 19 months in seasoned oak. Dark ruby-colored, the nose has a slightly roasted character with aromas of cedar, mineral, scorched earth, violets, and blackberry. Round, ripe, and smooth- textured, it has enough underlying structure to evolve for 2-3 years. Nicely balanced and lengthy, it will drink well from 2012 to 2021.
