Lovely nose with real purity to it. Delicate Meursault, nearly a Puligny version of M. Javillier's usual style which to me is the epitome of the appellation. More chalk, less hazelnuts. Alohol 13%. Notes by LAV. 9/20/2011.c

"Outstanding Top Value" An elegant, pure and airy nose of ripe, fresh and mildly exotic white and yellow fruit aromas blend seamlessly into clean and equally pure flavors that exhibit really lovely detail and ooze an exceptionally fine minerality on the refined and gorgeously long finish. This is a classic Tillets and highly recommended but it should reward 5 to 7 years of cellar time even though it could easily be enjoyed young. 91 points. Allen Meadows, Burghound Issue 43.
