Ode d'Aydie Madiran 2009

Tannat the tamed! Drinking this strikingly rich red is like marveling at a lion tamer getting the king of the animal kingdom to sit and curl up like a kitten. What rich and ripened dark fruit: hackberry, mulberry and black plum. A juicy attack welcomes all these and closes dry and tannic –a deep low bass note. Rich full and lasting on the finish, this is a big wine for big game or a fine cut of beef.
