La Place Aramis Blanc 2012
Made by the Famille Laplace at a lovely 11.5% this marries the lemon peel zip of Sauvignon and the floral lift of the Colombard unique to the Côtes de Gascogne of France’s Southwest. In a warm arid climate it is also just the sort of white that slakes the thirst of dry mouths and inspires calm under heat, conversation in company, and the next bite despite the balmy weather.
