Mas Lauris ROSE Terres de MasLauris 6/750 2019

Organic vineyards and winery | 50% Cinsault, 40% Grenache, 10 % Mourvèdre planted to the sandy loam and gravel at 1,000 feet altitude at the foot of the Luberon mountains. The microclimate allows the Maslauris grapevines to benefit from cool nights as well as beautiful, sunny days. The Mistral wind plays a key role in the healthy state of the grapes. Young vines harvested by hand with very early in the morning using headlamps to bring in the grapes cold and thereby preserve their integrity.

A gravity fed winery ensures a delicate and progressive pressing. Aged on fine lees in stainless steel vats for 4 months, this is bottled at the end of winter, with respect to the lunar calendar to preserve the maximum aromatic potential. A delicate pale pink, this rosé is vivid with exotic fruit and berries. On the palate, aromatic richness meets delicacy in a balance of wonderful acidity which brings freshness, liveliness and structure. The finish is luscious and expressive.
