Lyonnat Lussac Saint-Emilion 2010

Château Lyonnat,Lussac Saint-Emilion AOC is produced with selected parcels of vines that are over 20 years old, with strict sorting at harvest. The wine is traditionally vinified in temperature-controlled cement tanks, and aged in oak barrels of: 1/3 new barrels 1/3 barrels of one year 1/3 barrels of two years. Deep ruby color nose of spice cake, licorice and red fruit The palate is powerful and smooth, with very elegant and blended tannins.

Food Pairings

Most any meat; really, lamb, beef, pork, chicken, duck. Has an affinity for tomatoes and mushrooms.
