Marchesi di Gresy Gaiun Barbaresco 6/750 2001

Born in 1982 as a selection from the part of the Martinenga vineyard near Asili, Gaiun is produced only in the best vintages. Its taste is a little more international as the wine is aged in French oak barriques. Gaiun enjoyed notable success marked by a structure that brings together the class and elegance that only the Martinenga vineyard can offer. A brilliant, garnet red with orange hues lures one into an intense bouquet that is harmonious, reminiscent of jam, sweet tobacco and white chocolate and tastes full, rounded, with a lingering aftertaste.
