Russiz Superiore Cabernet Franc 6/750 2010

An even medium ruby from core to rim. Clean and moderate aromas but expressive scents of faugeres –that wood moss, and woodsy green spice of Hermes cologne and green peppercorns. Damn this becomes ever more pronounced in a heady scented almost pheromonal way –an animal attraction of taut cassis and currant leaf that twist in a tension of lingonberry acids and fruits of the forest –those most charming of brambly berries that close with that beguiling cologne on the finish.

The better cuts of lamb or beef. Grilled tuna or salmon. Ham and hamburgers. Pasta and pizza. Oh yeah, eggplant dishes.
