Mas Amiel Maury 2010

As the winery likes to say, this wine is in Art deco style. “Classic fundamentals: intense aromas of creamy fresh red fruit with nice body. The aim here is to achieve pure lines and elegant tannins.” From the stony shale soils in the Devèse area and the broken soils only two to two and a half feet above bedrock, these vines face south to ripen this 100% Grenache Noir ripens with certainty with the drying winds that grace the Pyrenees. An aromatic bouquet of red and black fruit are both bright and soft, with a velvety texture and ripe cherries washing over the palate. This is decadent juice!

Food Pairings
