Masumi Junmai Sake Mirror of Truth 12/720 - JS1003P

The comfort food among sakes, this is a richer more fragrant with more body –and yet nimble with vivacious acidity despite its creamy texture that reminds me of the bâtonnaged Chardonnay of Macon in southern Burgundy. A bit more starched and snappy, this is a deliciously rich.
Wine review by Nicholas Livingston, October 2013

Longtime sake-drinkers find this sake comfortingly familiar. It is smooth at first sip, and displays a range of subtle, organic flavors as well as a pleasant natural sweetness.

Goes best with Japanese-style comfort foods like tempura, tofu and marinated chicken or pork dishes. Keep under refrigeration after purchase and serve either cold or warmed to 120 degrees.
