Garrigue and ripe raspberries meld licorice, sage, rosemary and lavender! Fragrant with roses all over the palate and long onto the finish this is exemplary Chateauneuf-du-Pape in that it is thoroughly packed with engaging red and black fruit but really expressive of the fragrant garrigue one loves to find and thrilled when found at this intensity. If you love the heady scent of woodlands, eat game, or simply like to sip wines of soul and inimitable character, this needs ticking off your list of sought after joys -you will have a friend for life.
