Morey Chassagne-Montrachet Vieille Vignes 2009

Glorious, waxy, and sappy with lemon rinds, orchards of fruit, and that verve unique to great Burgundy, this is exciting to drink even for one familiar with Chassagne-Montrachet with high expectations; this is like rediscovery –like a child’s first bite into an exotic fruit for which they hunger ever after. I suppose if I were the type to draft bucket lists I’d be sure to jot this down.
