Like a thoroughly engaging guest at a party full of dull drips looking to corner you, this is an attractive Chardonnay that’s both exciting and alluring despite its fine manners. An enticing nose pulls you back no matter how nonchalant you feel and once sipped, this Chardonnay works its waxy textural tendrils around you and reminds you of what California Chardonnay could and should be: a balanced wine of great body, supple texture, a pronounced aromatic palate and a lasting finish –I’m pleased as punch!
