Mount Eden Chardonnay Wolff Vineyard 2010

Smoky limestone galore! Hazelnuts and a waxy dry extract that is nothing short of stunning. Waxy lemon rinds are textural, full and lingering –I simply love it for its supple texture and lingering power that goes on and on with lemon curd and fragrance to burn. Uniquely oily but finishes like Burgundy -almost like the Meursault that preserve that spine of citrusy acidity; this is alive.
