Mount Eden Chardonnay Old Vine Edna Valley 2014

Mount Eden 2011 Wolff Vineyard Chardonnay, Eden Valley | 13.8% | 100% barrel fermented in French oak, 50% malolactic fermentation | Made since 1985 from the sustainably farmed Wolff Vineyard, this has a beautiful mineral, acid/fruit balance. 2011 as a vintage is invigorating with a mouthwatering structure like a limestone driven Pouilly Fuissé but with a waxy apple texture and flavor mixing with a fragrant gunflint mineral above it all –really cracking Chardonnay! Yum.
