Navarro Lopez Crianza 2006

This medium-bodied wine features juicy acidity and bright raspberry fruit enlivened by notes of dusty earth, dry herbs and leather. Violet and rose petal aromas are joined by both red and black fruit in the nose. Spice notes really kick in about halfway through with white pepper along with a bit of nutmeg.

Very versatile. The better cuts of lamb. Most any meat braised or stewed. Game birds and poultry, especially duck.
