Novelty Hill Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
Ripe currants, high spiced leather and waxy vanilla bean engage the nose. Bright, juicy palate leads to a rich texture, lively acidity and fruit that must have come in looking like perfect clusters. Pure, smooth, with well burnished tannins, this is another feather in Mike Januik's cap. 9% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc. This sees 20 months in oak barrels.

"Classic, full-bodied Cabernet with dark fruit aromas and a hint of spice. Generous layers of fresh currant, black cherry and ripe blueberry gain concentration across the palate before leaving a balanced, richly textured impression that lasts."

Expert Review
91 Points - "Bright and expressive, offering a velvety mouthful of raspberry, cherry, blackberry and sage flavors, finishing with
a hint of smoke. Shows depth and persistence. Drink now through 2018."
