Novelty Hill Syrah 2017
“Novelty Hill’s 2011 Columbia Valley Syrah was sourced entirely from our estate vineyard, Stillwater Creek. Planted in 2000 on a steep, south-facing hillside on the Royal Slope of the Frenchman Hills, the vineyard quickly earned a reputation for its top quality fruit and is particularly well-known for its unique selection of premium varietal clones, including Syrah clones 1, 99, 174 and Joseph Phelps.”
A deep, dark wine with concentrated aromas and flavors. Ripe blackcherry, fresh blueberry, dark plum and a hint of Asian spice fill theglass and mingle across the palate. Medium-bodied with an elegantmouth feel and a finish that lasts. (winery note)
