Paso a Paso Tinto 2013

Paso a Paso 2012 Tempranillo, Vino de la Tierra de Castilla | 14% | 100% Tempranillo kept 6 months in French oak | An estate bottled Tempranillo from the land of La Mancha in Spain’s balmy bull’s eye –that arid plateau south of Madrid near Cuenca. Hand harvested and temperature controlled fermentations ensure it preserves its high toned strawberry and plum compote fruit profile, a floral high note and a spicy low note of cola spices underscoring everything. A happy reminder each vintage that Spain’s œnology has never been better and that this warm clime is capable of deep red wines with impressive layers of complexity.
