Perrin Cotes du Rhone Villages 2010
50/50 Grenache/Syrah
This has the southern Rhone all over it; nimble structure and easy acids never go down the ponderous path toward the Northern Rhone. Instead this is playful if not a little cheeky with strawberry and plum fruit (typical of such blends of the Southern Rhone), moderate tannins, and juicy acids that make it a nice beaker full of the warm south.
