Ricasoli Chianti Classico Castello di Brolio 2007

Castello di Brolio 2007 Chianti Classico | 14.5%| 80% Sangiovese (their very own clone: the Brolio Sangiovese clone) 10% Merlot 10% Cabernet Sauvignon | A Cru Chianti Classico from the finest parcels Ricasoli has in their possession (the largest contiguous piece in all of Tuscany with many microclimates and soils) it then matured 18 months in barrique. This is exceptional with leathern scents, black tea, cherries of every complexion and the beguiling scents of an herb-rubbed roast filling the home with its aroma and making it home. Roasted notes on the finish and a that sweet scent of forest floor just drive home what a superlative Chianti Classico Castello di Brolio is –a prince among princes.
